Brian Walsh

Corporate Startup Engagement

Brian leads the Next Gen Corporate Venturing and Innovation efforts, bringing significant private venture capital, entrepreneurship, corporate venturing experience and a deep network within Silicon Valley and Boston.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Brian was a venture capitalist with the oldest venture capital firm focused on cleantech and energy opportunities, a founder and CEO of an industrial Internet of Things (IoT) startup backed by the New York Angels (NYAs) and, most recently, Head of New Ventures, N.A. for Konica Minolta, a $9B Japanese public company.

Brian is passionate about helping corporations to effectively design, build and execute on innovation engagement platforms that drive value beyond the sum of the individual innovation program parts.
Outside of McKinsey, Brian is trying to get his golf swing back, keeping up with his wife and two children and getting his hands dirty over the weekends remodeling different parts of the house.
